Important Update Announcement for August 2025
Below is a recent update regarding TradeCraft and major updates coming to the platform, as well as to let our users know that we are continually developing and updating the platform, even if it may look like nothing is being done on the front-end.
Below is a screen shot so you can see the nodes have icons now (this is related to the new CheckMate system which is mentioned further down this post). They will be different colors. These are filters that are available now to the alpha testers. However, they don’t display on the nodes, making diagnosing filters more difficult. So we will add them, as well as a way to make all nodes the same size when adjusting their size.

Since we set out on building something from scratch and didn’t know how the work flow would work in real-world scenarios, the core logic kept changing and required the code to almost become patched to fix the bugs that would constantly pop up when it got developed. The core logic for the entire checklist will be redone so that way it’s all done correctly, since we now know how it needs to be. This node style we have developed will be used as a way to explore your main dash statistics. So it currently serves as the checklist / system builder. However, we planned to use the canvas for connecting tags and pie charts or whatever you want to more quickly work through stats. However, this will be down the line after we complete development on the checklist, which we branded “Check Mate” because it’s more than a checklist. It can tag for you as well as allow you to build full trading systems. After this is done we will be adding a default template for new users to have on their main dash. We will give new users trade data so they can practice messing with filters. We will add R which has been requested. We will also go through all the requested features and work on the ones that make the most sense. API is another thing we will do for you guys. So basically between big innovative creations like the checklist we will cycle into community request, then into another big feature.
The next big feature after all this will be tick data. MAE and MFE is obviously popular. Some platforms don’t have it, some that do have it don’t import it accurately like Jigsaw at times. With data, we will be able to get it for everyone. As well as having a chart on the journal that shows entries and exits. We will use TradingView as it can be more easily integrated. With this, we will add some unique features like labeling filtered tags on the chart or seeing what would happened if you held longer. Things like that. We’re working on this thing everyday and there’s always meetings. So I want to share what we discuss so you guys know that there is progress being made.
In summary, expect to see the following updates and changes in the near future:
- Release of CheckMate System Builder with proper nodes, coloring and connections, as well as better backend logic.
- Default template for new users to have data to work with after signing up for TradeCraft, and to make their experience and understanding of this powerful platform a bit easier.
- Add R to trade statistics.
- Providing access to a TradeCraft API for custom development.
- Addition of tick data
- Proper MAE/MFE calculations on trade imports
- Having charts provided by TradingView to display entries/exits as well as labeling tags directly on the cahrt.
- Continue to work through the list of community submitted feature/bug requests.
