“Exclusive” Tag Group Setting

1 min read

The “Exclusive” setting in the tag group allows you to select only one trade tag at a time in its assigned group.

Tag Groups with ‘Exclusive’ Setting Enabled #

To see what having the ‘Exclusive’ setting enabled in your tag group does, you can preview this in your journal by:

  • Selecting the Journal tab
  • Selecting the “Daily Trades” tab
  • Add a dummy trade by clicking the + icon.

You will then see your trade tags are greyed out, which means they don’t have the colors you assigned to them. This indicates that no tags are selected. If you click on a tag, it will have the color you assigned to it. If you click on the other greyed out tag, then the originally selected tag will become deselected and will grey out. The new tag will now light up with its assigned color, indicated it’s the selected tag.

Now we will show you what unchecking the “Exclusive” setting will do. First you need to go to your “settings” section and then “tags”. Next you will:

  • Click the ‘Pencil’ icon for one of your trade groups, then uncheck the ‘Exclusive’ check box.
  • Click apply and save

With the “Exclusive” box turned off. You will now be able to selecte as many trade tags as you want within this “Tag Group”.
